This could easily go down as one of my all-time favourite shoots. Everything was just so meticulously planned from the very moment Courtney Higgs and I first communicated about it all.
We wanted a 60’s vibe to our images, and coincidentally it sounded like we both had individually wanted to cover this era so it was an instant match made in heaven.
Courtney and I went through a moodboard together, then (and I always think this next part is a make-or-break for a shoot) I hunted out a suitable location. A very lucky find on Airbnb led me to a self-contained retro cabin; so perfect in look it was as if it was designed just for us! And a big shout out to Patricia (the Airbnb hostess) who was just so accommodating and friendly throughout our visit. Obviously I recommend a stay there – feel free to check it out online!
We had such a fab little team onboard – Holly Brooker as our completely creative and thorough stylist (she really nailed each look), and Lucy Jayne as our talented make-up and hair stylist (do check her out, she has an impressive, shiny new website).
We all put in 110%, and we’re really pleased with the results:
