Towards the end of last year, BBC One saw the return of the ‘The Apprentice’ series, in which candidates compete to go into business with multi-millionaire tycoon Lord Sugar.
For many months I had to hold on to the secret that I was infact invited to be a part of series 10, specifically the episode ‘Board Game’, where the two teams had to design from scratch a new board game to be sold across shops in London.
It was my role to assist the team who visited a photography studio, looking for just one final photo for their board game ‘The Relationship Guru’. The other team (in the adjacent studio) were being looked after my good friend and photographer Al Veryard. (1st framegrab, 2nd row)
It was of course an incredible experience to be a part of such a popular TV programme – and rather amusing to be directed by the candidates (without being able to push my own creativity into the photo)! (n.b. That’s me in the middle of the 3rd row of framegrabs)
Although my team lost (to a rather splendid outcome by Al’s team), I’m pleased to say one of my guys, Mark Wright, went on to win the grand finale!
