Galixeon’s Neon Photo Shoot at God’s Own Junkyard

Galixeon (a popular gamer, instagrammer and Uni student) and I had been trying to organise a shoot for some time, and although I had a few locations and ideas in mind, I ultimately felt none of them were going to give that intense colour palette I really wanted for her. If you’re visiting my site for the first time, you’ll quickly realise I’m a big fan of super-colourful photos!

Everything fell into place when I remembered a one-of-a-king venue in London called ‘God’s Own Junkyard’. Within a second of entering the doors, I couldn’t imagine anyone not falling in love with its countless neon signs all jam-packed in from floor to ceiling.

In our 2 hour alloted photo shoot time, we achieved so much (using various colour-gel light setups) and Galixeon was every bit as fun as I had hoped.

She bought along with her some fantastic outfits, including her bespoke-made Harley Quinn cosplay outfit. As soon as I saw that, I knew there and then it had to become one of my ‘Doll-series’ photos (you’ll see which one I mean, below).

Here are the final set of photos, which I nickname ‘Galix-neon’ (see what I did there!)
