Over the years I’ve produced so many films for Usborne Books at Home that I now really feel I understand their business, branding, and audience.
When they asked if I could take some photos for one of their new publications, ‘Passport to Success’, I was very happy to get involved.
Initial ideas and concepts for the cover showed spacing for a large title box, and a young family crowded around a big kit box of colourful books:
With this in mind, I positioned the family of 3 in my studio, lighting them evenly and preparing for post-processing cutout:
