Elsa and I hit it off immediately on this shoot – both sharing the same technical knowledge of cameras and lighting, which in turn made this such an easy shoot! I really wanted to rely on natural light only, and the combination of bright sun and large windows were perfect for providing that huge soft-box look I was after.
A few outfit changes later for Elsa, and I saw a great opportunity to use a corridor for a really creative shot! I placed a light outwards from inside a bathroom, half-closed the door to provide a strip-box effect, and then shot through into a corridor. It really helped to illuminate Elsa but only with a single line of light, really accentuating shapes and definition. See the final pic for the result.
Thanks Elsa, you were a pleasure to help build up your portfolio!
