I’ve just finished teaching a 2 day course for media students in Oxford, covering all aspects of band and artist photography; business, technical (cameras, lenses, lighting) and processing. We even delved into pretty technical setups including multiple off-camera-flash lights, mixing gels, as well as ambient, strobe and continuous all at the same time.
During the course we had the pleasure of photographing artists EB, Nick Elia, Gary Trinder and Rêves De Paix – who were all perfect (models, DJs and musicians!). Thanks also to Ian Wallman who stepped in to take some behind-the-scenes photos (at the end of this blog entry), I’m very grateful!
